The Unlimited Potential Board & Train is a 4 week program designed to build solid obedience, structure, and real life reliability. Your dog will be integrated into our home life and be part of a structured daily routine, learning how to respond to commands and expectations in everyday situations, not just during training sessions.
This program focuses on building a strong foundation your dog can carry into your day to day life. We’re not just teaching commands, we’re working on communication, consistency, and helping your dog understand what’s expected of them in different environments.
WHAT WE WORK ON
During the program, your dog will learn:
- Sit
- Down
- Place
- Heel
- Stay
- Recall
- Impulse control
- Engagement and focus
- Environmental exposure & field trips
Training is tailored to your dog, using what motivates them to create clear and consistent responses.
A big part of this program is helping your dog learn how to function outside of the home. We incorporate structured outings and real world exposure so your dog can practice their training around distractions, new environments, and everyday situations. This helps build confidence and creates a dog that can stay more neutral, calm, and responsive.
Your dog will be living in a structured home environment, working through daily training sessions, and gradually building consistency and reliability. You’ll receive updates along the way, and I’ll guide you through how to maintain and continue your dog’s progress once they return home.

This Behavior Modification program is designed for dogs that are struggling with more than just basic obedience. If your dog is reactive, fearful, anxious, resource guarding, or difficult to manage in everyday situations, you’re not alone, and it can feel overwhelming trying to figure out what to do next. This program is built to help both you and your dog work through those challenges in a structured, realistic way.
Behavior change takes time, consistency, and the right kind understanding and guidance. This isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about helping them learn how to respond differently through clear communication, structure, and controlled exposure. Each dog is different, which is why we start with a consultation and build a plan based on what your dog actually needs.
WHAT WE WORK ON
This program is designed for things like:
- Reactivity to dogs, people, and/or other environmental stimuli
- Fear or anxiety
- Separation related behaviors
- Resource guarding
- Difficulty settling or regulating behavior
- Difficulties in social interactions with other dogs
We focus on:
- Building engagement and trust
- Improving impulse control
- Teaching clear, reliable obedience and communication
- Gradually working through triggers in a controlled way
- Helping your dog develop better coping skills through thoughtful exposure
WHAT TRAINING LOOKS LIKE
Your dog will be integrated into my home life and be part of a structured daily routine. Training is built step by step. We don’t rush the process or put dogs into situations they’re not ready for. Instead, we work through things in a way that helps your dog understand what to do, rather than just reacting to what’s happening around them.
This program runs a minimum of 5 weeks, depending on your dog and what we’re working through. You’ll receive updates along the way, and I’ll guide you through how to continue the work once your dog goes home.
Behavior work doesn’t stop when the program ends, but you won’t be left trying to figure it out on your own.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Behavior modification is not a quick fix. This program creates a strong foundation and meaningful progress, but long term success depends on consistency, structure, and follow through at home after the program ends. I’ll show and support you in how to maintain and build on the progress your dog makes.

Every dog and every household is a little different. If you have specific goals in mind that go beyond standard obedience, the Custom Board & Train program is designed to help you build those skills in a way that fits you, your dog, and your goals.
This program includes the structure and foundation of our Unlimited Potential Board & Train, with the flexibility to focus on additional behaviors or skills that are important to you. We’ll build a training plan around your goals and your dog’s needs.
EXAMPLES OF CUSTOM GOALS
This program can be a good fit if you’re looking to work on things like:
- Running or biking alongside you
- Being calm and reliable on a boat or around water
- Traveling and staying settled in new environments
- More in depth public access manners in everyday settings
- Preparing your dog for a specific event (like walking down the aisle at a wedding)
- Building advanced obedience or specific skills
HOW IT WORKS
We’ll start with a consultation to talk through what you’re hoping to achieve, your dog’s current behavior, and what’s realistic based on their temperament and training level. From there, we’ll create a plan that outlines what we’ll focus on during the program. Your dog will still stay in a structured like home environment and follow a consistent training routine, with additional work tailored to your specific goals.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Training is built around both foundational skills and your custom requests, so your dog not only learns new behaviors, but understands how to apply them in real life situations. You’ll receive updates throughout the program, along with guidance on how to continue reinforcing these skills once your dog goes home.
